Deck overview

This mono-green deck maximizes creature power to cast Ghalta, Primal Hunger as early as turn 4 for just two green mana. Efficient early creatures like Steel Leaf Champion and Pugnacious Hammerskull provide the required power threshold ahead of curve. Once on the battlefield, Ghalta fuels powerful draw engines including Elemental Bond, Garruk's Uprising, and Rishkar's Expertise, refilling the hand with additional large threats. The deck finishes games through overwhelming combat steps, leveraging team pump and trample effects like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth to eliminate opponents across turns 5 to 7. Interaction relies on fight spells, artifact removal, and mass wipe effects like Bane of Progress and Ezuri's Predation. While the deck recovers well from removal by deploying redundant large creatures, it remains vulnerable to instant-speed creature exile and mass board wipes.
