The lord of pain by Terroris0988

Format: Commander

Commander: The Lord of Pain

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Lord of Pain leads a Rakdos group-slug deck that weaponizes every spell cast and every card drawn. The plan is to land the commander on turn three, then layer symmetrical pain permanents such as Sulfuric Vortex, Spiteful Visions, and Underworld Dreams so each upkeep and draw step shaves life off all opponents. The commander's first-spell trigger doubles as both a clock and a way to start the Bloodthirsty Conqueror + South Wind Avatar infinite drain loop. Exsanguinate and Bolas's Citadel provide the mana-hungry finish, while Solphim doubles all noncombat damage. The deck is aggressive but has no stack interaction and only one catch-all permanent answer.
