Deck overview

Vraska, Soul of Stone commands a high-velocity Jeskai spellslinger and artifact storm engine that weaponizes noncreature spells into mana-producing 1/1 Sculpture Treasure tokens. By granting artifact creatures vigilance, Vraska allows created tokens to both apply combat pressure and be sacrificed for mana. The deck accelerates in the opening turns via efficient mana rocks and cost reducers before deploying Vraska on Turn 2 or 3. Once established, velocity engines such as Whirlwind of Thought, Jeskai Ascendancy, and Skullclamp turn every cheap noncreature spell into card draw and mana surplus. The deck converts this avalanche of resources into a same-turn win around Turn 5, leveraging direct burn triggers from Purphoros, God of the Forge, Reckless Fireweaver, Ingenious Artillerist, and Vivi Ornitier, or executing an Underworld Breach and Brain Freeze storm finish. Backed by free protection spells, Silence, and dense low-cost countermagic, the deck reliably shields its win turns against disruption.
