Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Theft and Control strategy led by Evelyn, the Covetous. It focuses on turning opponents' resources against them by stealing permanents directly from their battlefields, libraries, and graveyards. The early game focuses on developing mana rocks such as Arcane Signet and Talisman of Dominance to establish color fixing. In the midgame, Evelyn, the Covetous provides steady card advantage by exiling cards from every player's library, while pieces like Dauthi Voidwalker and Opposition Agent disrupt enemy game plans. The late game transitions into decisive advantage through devastating high-cost spells like Expropriate, Blatant Thievery, and Archon of Cruelty, supported by reanimation effects like Reanimate and Beacon of Unrest. The deck closes out games by overwhelming the table with combat damage using stolen opposing threats.
