hapatra commanders quarters by chaoscodester

Format: Commander

Commander: Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hapatra is a -1/-1 counter deck that turns every counter placement into Snake tokens, then leverages those tokens for combat/value. The fastest kill is the Devoted Druid + Quillspike + Obelisk Spider loop: Druid generates an untap and a counter, Quillspike removes it, and Spider drains the table with each repetition. Hapatra's Snake production supports this by providing sacrifice fodder for Diabolic Intent and fuel for Skullclamp, while proliferate permanents spread counters. Secondary wins come from Snake swarm attacks boosted by Seshiro and Driven // Despair. To win, the deck usually assembles the three-piece engine by turn six, with combat as a backup when interaction breaks the loop.
