Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-white lifegain and go-wide overrun shell commanded by Qala, Ajani's Pridemate. The primary strategy focuses on establishing early 1-mana soul sisters like Soul Warden and Guide of Souls alongside token producers such as Ainok Strike Leader and Cat Collector. Once Qala hits the board on Turn 4, every lifegain instance places +1/+1 counters on her. When Qala attacks on Turn 5 and beyond, her ability grants an explosive +X/+0 anthem to all other attacking creatures based on her accumulated counters, converting small token swarms into overwhelming lethal threats. The deck features a lean, highly efficient interaction suite led by Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile, paired with robust defensive shielding from Clever Concealment, Restoration Magic, and Akroma's Will. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and lacking stack-based combo answers, the deck delivers high functional redundancy, rapid board recovery, and consistent Turn 6 to 7 combat finishes.
