Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Voltron aggro build centered around Wolverine, Best There Is. Wolverine doubles all damage he deals, meaning power-buffing auras and equipment quickly turn him into a lethal threat who can eliminate opponents via commander damage in one or two hits. The deck pairs Wolverine with fight and bite spells, which allow him to clear opposing blockers while triggering his end-step counter growth and preserving him via built-in regeneration. Acceleration is dense and reliable, leaning on efficient two-mana ramp to ensure Wolverine arrives on Turn 3. Five low-cost protection instants defend the commander against targeted exile and board wipes. The strategy is straightforward and aggressive, though its sequential combat focus gives opponents multiple turn cycles to respond before the entire table is eliminated.
