Necrons by TonsOfFun1987

Format: Commander

Commander: Imotekh the Stormlord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black Necron artifact-reanimator midrange deck helmed by Imotekh the Stormlord. The plan is to stock the graveyard with artifact creatures, then repeatedly pull them out via unearth, reanimation, and recursion so that Imotekh's Phaeron ability floods the board with 2/2 Necron Warrior tokens. Anthems, equipment, and finishers like Akroma's Memorial and Cranial Plating turn that swarm (plus the large Necron bodies themselves) into a combat win. Secondary angles include one-sided wipes (Their Name Is Death, Kindred Dominance), drain from Psychomancer and Necron Overlord, and massive reanimation turns with Living Death or Technomancer. The commander is a powerful token engine but not a hard lock-piece; the 99 already contains ample threats, unearth creatures, and recursion, so the deck still executes a fair artifact-beatdown plan if Imotekh is answered.
