Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Dragon tribal midrange list commanded by Ganax, Astral Hunter paired with the Acolyte of Bahamut Background. The core strategy accelerates mana in the early game to deploy Ganax on Turn 4, immediately establishing a Treasure-generating engine and reducing the cost of the first Dragon cast each turn by two mana. On Turn 5, the deck deploys game-ending Dragon threats such as Atarka, World Render, Thrakkus the Butcher, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen. Haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Fires of Yavimaya allow these massive flying creatures to attack immediately, dealing lethal combat damage across two response cycles to finish the game by Turn 7. The deck also contains an infinite token combo with Ganax and Draconic Visitor. While resilient in mana recovery, the deck has limited stack interaction and minimal spell protection, relying on sheer aerial power and high threat density to overwhelm the table.
