Deck overview

This mono-black deck is led by Ghoulcaller Gisa and centers on a dedicated Zombie tribal aristocrats strategy. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient early Zombie creatures, generating mana velocity through artifacts and cost-reducers, and resolving Gisa on Turn 4 or 5. Once active, Gisa converts high-power creatures into wide swarms of 2/2 Zombie tokens. The deck amplifies these tokens using classic tribal lords like Death Baron, Undead Warchief, and Lord of the Accursed, or converts them into lethal life drain using Ayara, First of Locthwain, Plague Belcher, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Strong creature suppression from Noxious Ghoul and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet keeps opposing creature boards manageable while the swarm closes out the game across Turns 7 and 8.
