Deck overview

This deck utilizes Child of Alara as a nuclear reset button from the command zone while developing a dedicated Gate-based mana engine. By deploying land ramp spells like Circuitous Route and Crop Rotation, the deck quickly builds its land count and fixes all five colors. The central win conditions leverage nonland wipes: when Child of Alara dies, it destroys all nonland permanents, leaving the deck's lands and indestructible Gods completely intact. The primary clock culminates around Turn 7 by activating The World Tree to deploy 10 legendary Gods simultaneously, or by achieving 10 distinct Gates with Maze's End. Alternate paths include assembling a 20/20 Marit Lage via Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage or casting Approach of the Second Sun. Strong land synergy and resilient permanents give the deck powerful late-game inevitability.
