Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai enters-the-battlefield midrange engine built around Yarok, the Desecrated. The primary game plan accelerates mana on early turns to deploy Yarok or redundant trigger doublers such as Panharmonicon and Starfield Vocalist by Turn 4. Once established, the deck extracts massive card advantage from low-cost utility creatures like Baleful Strix and Coiling Oracle. A deep package of clone effects, including Spark Double, Auton Soldier, and Phyrexian Metamorph, scales this advantage exponentially by copying the strongest permanents on the battlefield. The deck disrupts opponents by stealing key resources with Agent of Treachery and Hostage Taker or sweeping boards with Massacre Wurm. Passive punisher cards like Polluted Bonds and Confounding Conundrum tax enemy development while the deck builds an insurmountable board state, ultimately finishing games through overwhelming combat pressure and life-drain attrition by Turn 8.
