Deck overview

This Sultai elfball build helmed by Maralen, Fae Ascendant is a go-wide value deck. Maralen's exile trigger turns every Elf/Faerie entry into a look at two cards from an opponent's library, and once each turn the deck can cast a card from that exile pile for free as long as its mana value is no greater than the current elf count. The early game is one-drop mana dorks and token elves; the midgame multiplies the board with Doubling Season and Primal Vigor while Elrond, Lord of Rivendell, Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres, and Champions of the Perfect restock the hand. The kill is combat-first: Lathril, Blade of the Elves generates even more elves on contact and her tap-ten activation drains each opponent, while Root Manipulation turns the wide board menacing and lethal. There is no compact infinite combo; the deck wins through layered elf value, recursion, and two to three large swings.
