Deck overview

Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis is the deck's enabler rather than its finisher: its end-step trigger supplies a card and a bonus land every turn, which the rest of the deck converts into hand-size payoffs and extra draw triggers. The primary plan is to blank aggression with Propaganda, Ghostly Prison, and Sphere of Safety while stacking group-draw effects, then close through Approach of the Second Sun, Triskaidekaphile, or waves of Insect/Snake tokens from The Locust God and Xyris. Psychosis Crawler and Scrawling Crawler give every drawn card a life-drain subtheme. The Locust God is the closest thing to a hidden commander, since the deck is built to generate as many draw triggers as possible. Secondary paths include landfall value from Tatyova and a big Avenger of Zendikar swarm.
