Deck overview

This Abzan Food-and-life-gain deck pairs Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant to create a slow, value-oriented engine. Sam generates a Food token each combat, and Frodo, after gaining 3 life in a turn, tempts the Ring and eventually draws cards on attack. The primary plan is to accumulate a massive life total, then use Sanguine Bond or Enduring Tenacity to convert each life gain into opponent damage, or to create enormous token swings via Assemble the Entmoot and Feasting Hobbit. Secondary payoffs like Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade, and Gollum, Obsessed Stalker provide incremental drain. The deck wins through a combination of life-drain loops and combat, but lacks true infinite combos.
