Deck overview

Saruman, the White Hand helms a Grixis amass-spellslinger deck that converts every noncreature spell into Army growth. The core loop is cast Saruman, then chain instants and sorceries - steeply discounted by Baral, Chief of Compliance, Goblin Electromancer, Mizzix of the Izmagnus, Haughty Djinn, Nightscape Familiar, and Glamdring, Foe-hammer - with each cast triggering amass equal to its mana value. Harmonic Prodigy and Veyran, Voice of Duality double those triggers, while Uncover the Moon-Letters, Treasure Cruise, and Dig Through Time keep the chain fed. The single Army token then closes games: Assault on Osgiliath grants double strike and haste for a one-swing kill, and Soul's Fire, Essence Harvest, Fling, and Burning Anger convert its power into direct life loss. The whole game revolves around one Army token, making the deck simultaneously explosive and fragile.
