This Mardu deck is a goad and forced-combat politics deck that wins by making opponents attack each other while you stay safe behind damage-prevention and redirection. Mathas, Fiend Seeker puts bounty counters on threats to encourage their removal and create political leverage. The real engine is a suite of goad auras and creatures - Bothersome Quasit, Parasitic Impetus, Shiny Impetus, Hot Pursuit - plus mass goad in Disrupt Decorum and Spectacular Showdown. Single-target spells that make a creature deal damage to itself (Kiku, Night's Flower, Justice Strike, Inner Struggle) and board burn like Incite Rebellion, Deadly Tempest and Solar Blaze clear boards and burn life totals while fogs like Inkshield and Comeuppance protect you.
