Deck overview

This Golgari deck pairs explosive creature power with sacrifice engines to generate massive card draw and sudden table-wide finishes. Commanded by Tom, Bert, and William, the list leverages oversized creatures like Bebop & Rocksteady and Lord of Extinction to draw 5 to 7 cards per sacrifice activation. An abundant suite of 1-2 CMC mana dorks and land ramp accelerates the deck into turn 4 engine assembly. The primary win condition bypasses traditional combat: resolving Peer into the Abyss with Psychosis Crawler drains the table, or sacrificing an enormous Lord of Extinction to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord eliminates all three opponents at once. The commander features innate resilience, returning to play as an artifact upon death to maintain continuous sacrifice capability. Efficient instant-speed spot removal and Culling Ritual keep opposing boards in check while you assemble lethal bursts.
