Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya Lifegain Midrange strategy commanded by Kwia Vigorbloom. The game plan focuses on establishing early lifegain engines through creatures like Soul's Attendant and Authority of the Consuls, then casting Kwia on Turn 5. Kwia converts once-per-turn lifegain triggers into Lotus tokens that tap and sacrifice for three mana of any color. This explosive mana velocity fuels powerful midgame payoffs on Turn 6, such as Blossoming Bogbeast, Aetherflux Reservoir, and Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines. The deck features an infinite lifegain combo between Famished Paladin and Resplendent Mentor, but primarily wins through compounding combat damage amplified by +1/+1 counters from Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn. While resilient against single-target removal thanks to Kwia's ward and static silence effects from Dragonlord Dromoka, the deck relies heavily on natural draws due to an absence of direct tutors.
