Deck overview

This Simic deck combines heavy land ramp, enter-the-battlefield triggers, and counter proliferation to control the board and win decisively. Its game plan centers on ramping into its commander, Omega, Heartless Evolution, whose Wave Cannon ability scales with the deck's high count of nonbasic lands. Upon entering, Omega taps down the primary threat of each opponent, buries them under a pile of stun counters, and grants a significant life buffer. The deck then pairs Omega with repeatable blink engines like Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, Conjurer's Closet, and Deadeye Navigator, alongside proliferate engines like Evolution Sage, to maintain total control over opposing creatures and artifacts. High-velocity card draw engines such as Generous Patron and Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait quickly dig into game-ending payoffs. The deck finishes the game by overrunning paralyzed defenders with Craterhoof Behemoth, converting its massive life pool into lethal damage with Aetherflux Reservoir, or unleashing an immense Sin, Unending Cataclysm.
