Commander: Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer and Criminal Past

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck pairs Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer with the Criminal Past Background to create a goad-and-graveyard value engine. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with creature cards, making Baeloth enormous (menace and +X/+0 from the Background) so he can goad almost every opposing creature, then use goaded attacks to generate Treasure tokens while the deck's own creatures - many of which scale with graveyard size - close out the game. Secondary win conditions include Avatar of Slaughter forcing all creatures to attack with double strike, Orcus, Prince of Undeath for a one-sided board wipe or mass reanimation, and Liliana, Death Wielder's ultimate. The deck is a midrange value pile that relies on incremental advantage, recursion, and combat chaos rather than fast combos.
