Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control strategy that combines taxing stax pieces with theft and library manipulation. Led by Sen Triplets, the deck aims to slow the table using early hatebears like Drannith Magistrate, Archon of Emeria, and Lavinia, Azorius Renegade. Once opponents are constrained, it deploys Sen Triplets or Xanathar, Guild Kingpin to hijack opposing hands, lands, and libraries while exiling key win conditions using cards like Sadistic Sacrament and Praetor's Grasp. The list excels at disrupting fast combo strategies and protecting its board with tools like Clever Concealment and Grand Abolisher. However, the deck faces a severe structural bottleneck: running only 27 lands with virtually no artifact ramp or mana fixing leaves it prone to missing land drops and stalling on its expensive top-end spells.
