Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Mutant Ninja Turtle aggro-midrange build commanded by Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart. The primary game plan revolves around casting Michelangelo on Turn 2, followed by Leonardo on Turn 4. When Michelangelo attacks, his Raid ability creates a Food token in the second main phase, which immediately triggers Leonardo to distribute +1/+1 counters across your entire team. The deck compounds this board advantage through counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Doubling Season, token multipliers like Academy Manufactor, and aggressive damage amplifiers like Raphael, the Muscle. Combat finishers such as Akroma's Will, Triumph of the Hordes, and Leonardo's {WUBRG} keyword anthem provide overwhelming evasion and trample. Robust defensive layers, including Teferi's Protection, Heroic Intervention, and Mutational Advantage, ensure your growing turtle army survives opposing disruption on the path to a decisive combat victory.
