Deck overview

This deck is a focused Golgari Voltron and +1/+1 counters aggro build piloted by Skullbriar, the Walking Grave. The primary strategy accelerates Skullbriar onto the battlefield on Turn 2, leveraging its haste and built-in counter accumulation to establish early pressure. A wide suite of counter enhancers such as Hardened Scales, Winding Constrictor, Corpsejack Menace, and Power Fist rapidly inflates Skullbriar's power into lethal commander damage territory. The unique retention of counters across graveyard and command-zone transitions grants exceptional resilience against standard destroy and exile removal.
