Banding Birds by user1204097

Format: Commander

Commander: Soraya the Falconer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-white Bird tribal aggro deck built around Soraya the Falconer's anthem and banding ability. The primary plan is to assemble a critical mass of evasive Bird creatures, pump them with Soraya and Aven Brigadier, and finish with a hasted Akroma's Memorial swing. The 15-copy Tempest Hawk acts as a hidden commander: every successful hit searches out another copy, keeping the hand and board full. Secondary plans include token generation from Falcon and Redwing, Elspeth, and Battle Screech, plus a Stuffy Doll/Pariah damage-redirection package as defensive tech. The commander is a multiplier rather than an engine; the deck can still play without her, but it attacks considerably weaker.
