Rakdos Treasures by Arez76

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rakdos treasure engine built around Smaug the Impenetrable. The primary plan is to cast a hasty, indestructible 8/7 Smaug and then use cheap self-damage spells-especially Cut Propulsion and Self-Destruct-to convert noncombat damage into an explosive pile of Treasure. Those tokens feed artifact payoffs: Reckless Fireweaver, Ingenious Artillerist, Mirkwood Bats, and Mayhem Devil drain the table, while Academy Manufactor and Xorn multiply the token count. Hellkite Tyrant and Knuckles the Echidna provide alternate artifact-count wins. There and Back Again acts as a hidden Smaug line, producing a token that can also become fourteen Treasures. Descent into Avernus supplies steady symmetrical Treasure growth.
