Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color artifact and blink midrange strategy commanded by Karn, Gilded Guardian. The game plan revolves around establishing multicolored artifacts—such as dual-color Heartwood tokens from Soul Tether variants, Gleaming Geardrake, and Grim Bauble—to maximize Karn's card draw ability on entry. The deck leverages airbend mechanics from Appa, Steadfast Guardian and Aang, Airbending Master, along with Gandalf the White trigger doubling, to repeatedly flicker and recast key permanents for discount costs. This constant influx of cards fuels lethal payoffs such as Psychosis Crawler drain and Warstorm Surge burn, alongside wide Ally token swarms and flying beatdown from Aerid Konstrari. Robust interaction, tutorable protection equipment, and high-efficiency recursion ensure the deck maintains dominance across extended midrange games.
