Rat Poison

Format: Commander

Commander: Wick, the Whorled Mind

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Wick, the Whorled Mind leads a Grixis aristocrats and combo-burn strategy that turns Rat swarms into a lethal Snail projectile. Casting Wick and subsequent Rats creates and steadily enlarges a Snail creature token. Once the Snail reaches critical size, Wick sacrifices it for three mana to deal direct damage to all opponents and draw an equivalent number of cards. The primary win condition enhances this burst through infect enablers like Tainted Strike and Phyresis or damage multipliers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus. Edict effects keep opposing boards empty while draw engines and countermagic secure the pieces needed for a sudden table knockout.
