Oh brother by user8296896

Format: Commander

Commander: Blech, Loafing Pest

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Blech, Loafing Pest is the centerpiece of a Golgari token swarm that converts life-gain triggers into +1/+1 counters on Pests, Snakes, Insects, and Spiders. The primary plan is to flood the board with Pest tokens from Pest Rescuer, Pest Infestation, Beledros, and Eccentric Pestfinder, then sacrifice them through Devouring Swarm, Dina, Essence Brewer, or Smothering Abomination to trigger life gain, drain via Dina, Soul Steeper and Zulaport Cutthroat, and grow a massive combat team. Secondary paths use Beastmaster Ascension or Blossoming Bogbeast for trample kills, or Stensian Sanguinist's prepared Exsanguinate. No double-faced commander is used; among DFC cards the front faces create board presence while their back-face spells serve as payoffs.
