Deck overview

This is a mono-white combat deck centered on General Jarkeld, Equipment, and unusual ways to control blocking. Its strongest ordinary line is to develop lands and mana artifacts, cast Stonehewer Giant, then use the Giant to find and attach an Equipment such as Colossus Hammer, Buster Sword, or Sword of Fire and Ice. Puresteel Paladin, Sigarda's Aid, and Kíli the Resourceful can make Equipment deployment more efficient, but they are not reliably assembled together. The deck has useful interaction and protection, including Swords to Plowshares, Mandate of Peace, Shelter, and Akroma's Will. Its main problem is conversion: a large attacker and combat tricks do not reliably eliminate three opponents, and there is no compact infinite combo, extra-turn chain, or total lock. General Jarkeld improves combat math but does not itself generate cards, mana, or lethal pressure. The deck is therefore a functional casual Equipment deck rather than a fast or deterministic winning strategy.
