Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is a synergistic Hero tribal aggro-midrange build commanded by Captain America, Team Leader. The primary game plan establishes an aggressive board state by chaining low-to-mid cost Hero creatures into play. Whenever a Hero enters, the commander grants it immediate haste, vigilance, and a +1/+1 counter while growing himself, enabling instant combat pressure. The deck fuels its aggressive curve through tribal draw engines like Jarvis, Earth's Mightiest Butler, Director Nick Fury, and Kindred Discovery. As the game transitions into the midgame, the deck multiplies its damage output using high-impact finishers such as War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, Firebird, Blazing Ranger, and Door of Destinies, or clears opposing blockers with an asymmetric Raise the Palisade. While vulnerable to repeated sweepers and lacking fast combo finishes, the list maintains consistent combat momentum, solid individual card quality, and resilient backup attackers that can close out the table through sustained, evasive combat damage.
