Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red aggressive build commanded by Éomer, Marshal of Rohan, designed to chain extra combat phases through the sacrifice and death of attacking legendary creatures. The list features a dense suite of cheap legendary threats such as Kari Zev, Skyship Raider, Squee, Dubious Monarch, and The Spear of Leonidas, whose attacking tokens die naturally or through sacrifice outlets to trigger Éomer's untap ability. Alongside its primary combat engine, the deck incorporates an artifact reanimation subtheme featuring Goblin Welder, Daretti, Scrap Savant, and Trash for Treasure to cheat game-ending artifacts like Portal to Phyrexia into play. With dependable ramp and redundant attackers, the deck consistently establishes its engine on turn 4, creates lethal combat pressure by turn 6, and closes games by turn 8. While resilient against single-target disruption due to cheap backup threats, the list remains vulnerable to instant-speed interaction and lacks answers to opposing enchantments.
