Sauron, the Dark Lord by Tapion1981

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Built around Sauron, the Dark Lord, this Grixis deck uses its commander as a draw engine: ring tempts let Sauron convert a full hand into four cards while feeding the graveyard. The primary kill is a one-shot token combo-reanimate Terror of the Peaks, then Devastating Onslaught for X=5 creates 25 damage triggers worth 125 damage. Nazgul forms a nine-copy hidden commander, growing Wraiths through ring tempts as a secondary beatdown plan, while Entomb, Animate Dead, Reanimate, and Underworld Breach give a resilient recursion backbone. Hullbreaker Horror and flexible counters protect the finisher. The deck is a value-combo deck: midrange early, explosive the turn it assembles Terror plus 11 mana for Onslaught.
