Emet K’rrik Malone 🖤💀🖤 by MattyLav

Format: Commander

Commander: Post, Son of Rich

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth is the engine of this mono-black life-manipulation deck. Every black pip in every cost can be paid with 2 life, turning life into mana and allowing explosive early plays. The primary plan is to land K'rrik on turn 2-3, then use cheap tutors and card draw to assemble one of several infinite life-drain loops, usually Exquisite Blood plus Sanguine Bond or Bloodthirsty Conqueror plus Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Secondary paths include Peer into the Abyss with Sheoldred or Bloodletter of Aclazotz, and large Exsanguinate finishes. The deck is fast but fragile to stack interaction.
