Deck overview

This Rakdos deck, helmed by Ares, God of War, is a high-octane extra-combat and sacrifice-recursion strategy. The commander forces attacks and returns dying attackers to hand, enabling repeated use of creatures with powerful ETB or death triggers. The primary win path chains extra combat steps via Aggravated Assault, Karlach, Fury of Avernus, and Port Razer, fueled by explosive rituals and treasure generation. Backup infinite combos include Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Yawgmoth, Thran Physician for infinite death triggers, and Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts for infinite hasty attackers. The deck also leverages graveyard recursion through Underworld Breach, Living Death, and Reanimate to recover from disruption and grind out value.
