Get the crown off me (I don't want it) by KingOfHell2003

Format: Commander

Commander: Garland, Royal Kidnapper

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Garland, Royal Kidnapper is a Dimir theft/monarch deck that puts an opponent on the throne, then steals a creature from whoever currently wears the crown. Goad and combat-based effects make opponents move the crown between each other, generating new theft triggers and drawing cards. A large reanimation package (Bringer of the Last Gift, Sepulchral Primordial, Endless Obedience) plus stolen creatures buffed by Garland's +2/+2 closes the game. The deck has no combo, so it wins through accumulating evasive/hard-to-block creatures in a slow, interactive, board-centric game.
