Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Midrange strategy centered on Bre of Clan Stoutarm. The primary game plan pairs consistent early lifegain enablers with Bre's end-step ability to exile cards from the library and cast high-impact nonland spells for free. By leveraging lifegain from sources like Pristine Talisman, Shadowspear, and lifelink attackers, the deck cheats mana costs and deploys heavy flying beaters such as Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, and Angel of Destiny. Topdeck sculptors like Scroll Rack and Sensei's Divining Top ensure high-value hits off Bre's triggers. While the deck lacks stack-based countermagic and fast infinite combos, it makes up for it with resilient midrange beatdown, strong permanent removal, and game-ending combat multipliers.
