Deck overview

This deck executes a focused Jeskai Voltron strategy centered on Captain America, First Avenger. By leveraging Captain America's Catch ability, the deck bypasses high equip costs on powerhouse artifacts like Colossus Hammer and Excalibur, Sword of Eden, turning the commander into an immediate 14-power lethal threat on Turn 4. Captain America's Throw ability converts attached equipment into versatile direct damage to control opposing boards. The deck supports this aggressive core with efficient equipment tutors, resilient card-draw engines like Puresteel Paladin and King T'Challa, and robust protection spells including Fierce Guardianship and Mithril Coat. While the plan eliminates opponents sequentially over three combat rotations rather than in a single explosive turn, its redundancy, defensive suite, and flexible backup legends make it an enduring and highly interactive combat force.
