Deck overview

This Bant midrange deck is commanded by Sophia, Dogged Detective, combining Dog tribal synergies with an intricate Food, Clue, and +1/+1 counter token engine. The deck utilizes dense, low-mana ramp to cast Sophia ahead of schedule on Turn 3, immediately establishing Tiny as an evasive trampling attacker. Subsequent turns leverage successful combat connections to create artifact tokens that feed Sophia's counter-distribution ability, converting token generation into expanding board presence. Complementary powerhouses such as Academy Manufactor, Jaheira, Friend of the Forest, and Peregrin Took hyper-accelerate mana production and card velocity. The deck aims to overwhelm opponents through combat pressure, culminating in decisive alpha strikes via Craterhoof Behemoth or Night of the Sweets' Revenge. While it possesses strong card draw and spot interaction, the deck remains vulnerable to mass board wipes and lacks hard stax or infinite combos.
