Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aura control build piloted by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. Its game plan revolves around enchanting both opposing creatures and friendly threats with inexpensive Auras. By enchanting opposing creatures, Eriette turns dangerous enemy attackers into harmless bystanders that cannot attack you, while simultaneously forcing them into other opponents via goad effects like Ghoulish Impetus. Each aura in play fuels Eriette's end-step drain trigger, steadily siphoning life from all opponents while keeping your life total high. Because the deck lacks tutors and fast mana, it operates as a fair, interactive control deck. It excels at grinding out creature-heavy pods through incremental card advantage and defensive locks. However, it relies heavily on its commander to convert board presence into victory, leaving it vulnerable to mass enchantment removal and spell-based combo strategies that bypass the combat phase.
