Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Reanimator strategy led by Taskmaster, Mercenary Mimic. It fills the graveyard quickly through discard spells and looting creatures like Likeness Looter and Rona, Herald of Invasion. Once high-impact creatures such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Void Winnower, and It That Betrays enter the graveyard, the deck copies them using Taskmaster or returns them directly to the battlefield with cheap reanimation spells. Clone effects like Spark Double, Auton Soldier, and Irenicus's Vile Duplication multiply these threats, overwhelming the table with combat damage, Annihilator triggers, and asymmetric stax effects. The deck controls the game by stripping hands and restricting opposing spells while preserving its own board state with countermagic and protective equipment.
