Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Kaalia of the Vast battlecruiser strategy built to deploy game-ending Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield without paying their mana costs. By casting Kaalia on Turn 3 or 4 and attacking on Turn 5, the deck bypasses the high mana requirements of cards like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Utvara Hellkite, Ancient Gold Dragon, and Bloodthirster. A robust suite of free and efficient protection spells—such as Deflecting Swat, Flawless Maneuver, and Vexilus Praetor—shields Kaalia during critical combat windows. Removal like Swords to Plowshares, Deadly Rollick, and Blasphemous Act controls opposing boards while the aerial army deals lethal combat damage over two combat rotations, closing the game around Turn 7.
