Format: Commander

Commander: Queen Marchesa

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Queen Marchesa is a Mardu monarchy/politics deck. The primary plan is to claim the crown early with Marchesa or backup sources, then defend it with pillow-fort taxes and damage-prevention tricks while the monarch payoffs generate cards and tokens. Secondary plans use goad effects to redirect opponent attacks and close with either Insurrection/Mob Rule board theft or a wide Assemble/Court token army. The commander is a cheap, hasty monarch enabler whose death threat punishes whoever takes the crown; there is no hidden commander. The deck is not combo-oriented; it wins through incremental advantage and one big combat/upkeep damage turn.
