Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow by Zerok

Format: Commander

Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow is a tempo-drain Ninja deck. The primary plan is to play an unblockable one-drop, ninjutsu Yuriko in on turn two or three, then repeatedly connect with cheap Ninjas while stacking the top of the library. Flipping Draco, extra-turn spells, and other high-mana cards makes every hit drain the whole table. The commander is both the evasion engine and the mass-damage payoff; Satoru Umezawa is the hidden commander, granting every creature in hand ninjutsu and filtering on activation. Secondary paths are Kaito planeswalker emblems, big-Ninja value from Fallen Shinobi and Ink-Eyes, and extra-turn chains to multiply combat phases. Most games are won by table-wide drain rather than by creature combat.
