Commander: Abaddon the Despoiler

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a high-cascade, midrange chaos deck built around Abaddon the Despoiler. The game plan is to bleed opponents through combat and damage triggers, then use Abaddon's "Mark of Chaos Ascendant" ability to turn every suitably cheap spell in hand into a cascade spell for the rest of the turn. The deck backs this with a demon/Astartes creature shell: Herald of Slaanesh discounts demons, Warstorm Surge and Keeper of Secrets convert cast-heavy turns into table damage, and Bloodthirster supplies the extra-combat reach to close games. Losing the commander hurts, but the 99 contains enough natural cascade, token creation, drain effects, and table-damage permanents to stay dangerous even when Abaddon is expensive.
