Deck overview

This Grixis deck is commanded by Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge and focuses on cheating massive, game-warping instants and sorceries into play without paying their mana costs. The deck accelerates early using efficient mana rocks and topdeck tutors like Vampiric Tutor, Imperial Seal, and Mystical Tutor to ensure Jeleva exiles high-impact spells upon entering the battlefield. Once Jeleva attacks—often enabled by haste sources such as Swiftfoot Boots or Rising of the Day—she unleashes devastating extra-turn spells like Time Stretch and Expropriate, or mass-reanimation effects like Breach the Multiverse. Secondary payoffs such as Passionate Archaeologist and Ancient Cellarspawn convert these high mana value casts from exile into massive chunks of direct burn. The deck closes games rapidly by chaining extra turns and overwhelming opponents with stolen threats and token armies.
