Doomy Doom by user1984961

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Doctor Doom, King of Latveria pilots a Grixis discard-and-Villain engine. The commander is both a payoff (discarding lands drains everyone) and an enabler (each combat he makes a Villain menacing and connives). The deck leans into a 'hidden commander' in Norman Osborn // Green Goblin: the front face unblocks and connives while the back gives graveyard mayhem. Wins come from incremental discard drains (Faith of the Devoted, Monument to Endurance, Cool but Rude), backed by churners like M.O.D.O.K. and Bone Miser, then finishing with Living Laser or Exsanguinate. The plan is resilient because most pieces also draw cards or recur, but it has no fast combo and depends on a few payoff permanents staying on board.
