Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir reanimator and graveyard clone strategy led by Ludevic, Necrogenius // Olag, Ludevic's Hubris. The game plan revolves around rapidly filling the graveyard through dedicated self-mill creatures and direct entomb effects such as Buried Alive and Vile Entomber. Once key creature payloads are in the graveyard, Ludevic transforms into Olag to become a lethal copy of high-impact threats. The centerpiece interaction uses Olag copying Phage the Untouchable, bypassing Phage's enter-the-battlefield lose condition while granting Olag a one-hit lethal combat damage trigger. Combined with evasion from Wonder in the graveyard, Olag eliminates opponents in consecutive turns starting on Turn 5. Backup paths include reanimating massive beaters like Consuming Aberration and Doom Whisperer using Animate Dead, Victimize, or Stitch Together, supported by efficient counterspells.
