Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact-token stompy strategy piloted by Aerid Konstrari. The game plan revolves around rapidly generating artifact tokens—specifically red/green mana-producing Heartwood tokens, Treasures, and Clones—to accelerate mana production, trigger passive burn effects, and fuel explosive combat finishers. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with fast artifacts and land tutors to deploy Aerid by Turn 3 or 4. Once established, the deck leverages token doublers and creature cloners to amass a wide artifact count. Payoffs like Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist drain opposing life totals automatically, while heavy finishers like Craterclaw Colossus, Depthshaker Titan, and Aerid's artifact-scaling activated ability push through overwhelming trample damage. The deck defends its critical turns using highly efficient redirection and protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Heroic Intervention.
