Deck overview

This Grixis midrange deck harnesses the dark forces of Mordor by combining Sauron, the Dark Lord with an aggressive Wraith and Orc Amass theme. Built with strong thematic focus, the deck leverages nine copies of Nazgûl alongside token producers like March from the Black Gate and Lord of the Nazgûl. Sauron acts as both a resilient threat and a powerful card advantage engine, amassing an Orc Army whenever opponents cast spells and refilling your hand with four fresh cards whenever the Ring tempts you. Evasion enablers such as The Black Gate, Angrath, Captain of Chaos, and Corsairs of Umbar ensure your Armies connect to cycle your deck rapidly. While the deck relies on traditional combat steps to eliminate the table by Turn 8, its heavy card velocity, built-in Ward protection, and disruptive tools like Notion Thief and Orcish Bowmasters give it steady resilience and late-game inevitability.
